In the spring of 2021, I had the pleasure of collaborating with fantastic clients on a new construction home design project in Costa Rica. After vacationing in the region many times, they decided to build their dream vacation home on the sunny Pacific coast. Over two years, I worked closely with the owners and the builder, making certain that each space captured the details that were important to my clients.

The residence features imported Italian travertine floors, teak ceilings, and Venetian plaster walls. Oversized accordion doors and kitchen windows were designed to create a seamless indoor-outdoor luxury living experience for my clients, their friends, and family. A few notable details include primary suites on both the first and second floors, a custom front entry iron and glass door, and a spiral staircase made from Guanacaste carved wooden threads. The private backyard boasts an infinite pool, EL Rancho for shaded dining, a teak outdoor shower, and a private outdoor bathroom. This home is special in so many ways. I am forever grateful to Mike and Nicole for entrusting me with the design of their beautiful home.
